View full post » It's another busy summer of play, with way too many things that I want to post about, so I'll try to catch up a little with some random summer-fun pics of Anthony and his cousins Josh and Jena... There are lots of little frogs around in the grass. He found this one while clearing away a fallen tree, just like he found one when we first started the cleanup of a tree that had fallen. I took a photo of Anthony by it last year, so took another this year, and may try to make it into a tradition. Normally when we're near the tree it's because we're taking a tractor ride where he sits on my lap and drives, so he's not in the mood to stop that fun to take a stupid picture, so I had to say something silly to get him to laugh. Cousin Josh soon followed suit, with a smaller monster marshmallow more appropriate to his four years. I asked whether I could take a picture, to which he replied "No, thank you.", and I gave him a sad look and said that I wanted to show a picture of his marshmallow to his Daddy (who didn't make the trip up this time), and after a bit Josh relented and displayed his creation for the camera...
