Petting Zoo Comes to School

The petting zoo came to Anthony's preschool the other day, with a llama, a pig, a porcupine, goats, hamsters, bunnies, dogs and puppies, some horses, and more.

Adobe Lightroom Version 1.0

Adobe has, just one minute ago, announced the February release of Lightroom version 1.0, its digital photo workflow application. (The official name is "Adobe® Photoshop® Lightroom™" but everyone but Adobe will call it simply "Adobe Lightroom," including me.)

Lightroom allows one to quickly and effectively process large numbers of digital images. I often take 500+ pictures at a single event, and Lightroom lets me quickly go through them, sorting them, hiding/deleting the bad, make small adjustments (or large adjustments -- I'm still not a good photographer) in exposure, white balance, [...]

Anthony’s Vending Machine

We have no idea from what part of his mind it came, but Anthony drew a vending machine. It specializes in "Monkey Juice" (whatever that is, I'm sure it's related to his Curious George), as it sports it in four of the positions. The others seem to be carrot juice, strawberries, or maybe apples. The one with an × is sold out.

Anthony Drawing: Family and Cats

As best I can tell, he started off by drawing Mommy, Daddy, and himself.

Then, sitting with him,Fumie drew the babysitter that we had for a while yesterday, and a cat, after which Anthony mimicked the cat.

At some point along here, Anthony doodled some random other stuff as well.

The sitter apparently wrote some text, to which Anthony tried to add some as well.
