Aunt Chickee and the 6½th Cousin

The theme of this summer's family get-together is "Grandma and Grandpa Friedl's grandchildren", though I've tended to frame it from Anthony's point of reference with posts like "Conflagration of Cousins" and "More Cousins 'n Such". Six of the grandchildren have been featured in posts during the last two weeks, but one remains, Grandchild #6½, due at the end of November. He or she will Anthony's sixth cousin, and will be Uncle Mikey and Aunt Chickee's #3, after four-year-old Grace and two-year-old Luke.

I wanted the as-yet-unnamed cousin to be represented in my posts, so I asked Chickee to pose for [...]

Luke’s Eyes

The other day's post about all of Anthony's cousins getting together for the first time started with a photo titled "Luke's Toes". I really like it, but it's Luke's eyes that are most amazing. More Corrupt Memory-Card Woes

As soon as I switched to a Nikon D700 from a Nikon D200, I started getting corrupt memory cards. New Lightroom Plugin: Export-to-Photobucket

In what is almost certainly the most ridiculous thing I have ever done in my entire life, I've created an export-to-Photobucket plugin for Adobe Lightroom.

I fully understand that the intersection of Photobucket users with Lightroom users is exactly the empty set, but Photobucket's API is well documented and they use a kind of authentication that I wanted to test. So there it is.

New Lightroom Plugin: Export to Expono

I've just released a new plugin for Adobe Lightroom, for uploading directly to Expono. This joins my other uploaders (for Zenfolio, SmugMug, Flickr, PicasaWeb, and Facebook) on my Lightroom Goodies page. There you'll also find other plugins for various tasks, such as metadata management, geoencoding, proximity search, video-asset management, etc.
