What am I?
It's been a while since one of my “What am I?” quizzes, so I thought I'd throw this one up. Like this quiz and this one, it's got some long thin things in it, but it's not related to either previous post.
It's also not related to music.
So, what do we have here?

I’m going to guess strings on a fretboard of some kind. That there’s 10 of them so it’s definitely something on the “odd” side of the guitar-like world, but that’s certainly what it looks like to me.
It’s some kind of textile device, weaving thin threads together into thicker ones. Maybe part of a larger device that weaves cloth?
Strings on a Koto or other zither.
Don
Would have guessed piano, but if it’s not music…
Loom of some sort?
I get a feeling of something to do with yarn-creation or weaving… all the threads going on the way to the heddles. So would this be a close view of part of a loom?
It reminds me of weaving machinery that I’ve seen at the TCMIT in Nagoya. A thread spinning machine, perhaps?
Raw silk?
I am going to hazard a guess at this one – “Tatami Mat weaver”.
They resemble strings of a musical instrument. Is it a koto?
Looks like the strings of a musical instrument to me.
Looks like I got everyone this time… the answer is posted here.
It was impossible to get the right answer 😉
