My View This Morning
It's the view on my computer, at least, when I first sat down this morning. When I'm testing Lightroom things, I'm often jumping around randomly in my image archive, and apparently this was the image I happened to end at when I went to bed last night. Concentrating on my work at the time, I didn't think much about it one way or the other, but it was a nice image to wake up to, so I thought I'd share it.
It's from the last day of our short New Year trip to Toyama Prefecture, seen in other recent posts, including this, this, this, and this.
Desktop-backgrounds included as a bonus.

Jeffrey, this is nothing short of stunning. Wonderful, wonderful shot.
I agree with Sean. I can see it properly framed and matted and on a wall. Or possibly a Limited Edition print, signed by the artist, of course. 😀 Actually, there have been a number of such shots on here of which I am particularly fond . You should really have very little wall space left in your home by now.
That is a nice shot. Great layers.
Hi Mr. Friedl
I find your blog very interesting, full of wonderful photos and the comments you post in them. I found your blog by accident about five years ago and since then I visit it very often.
This photo of the Snowy Mountain is very beautiful, with all the little details that you can find in it, the trees, the background that is almost invisible, I simply love it.
Please continue taking beautiful photos, like always.
Regards.
