圓光寺
This post is just a bunch of extra desktop-background images from the Enkouji Temple (円光寺) in Kyoto last fall, that I didn't have space to fit in “The Gorgeous Enkouji Temple of North-East Kyoto” the other day.

Next are a few “reflections of the trees in the pond” shots similar to “Pond” the other day. That one is still my favorite, but these have their own nice character...

I dunno whether this even has merit, but I thought I'd try something different
Now a few more random garden-scene shots...

Jeff, these are really great pictures! I have a question. Why do they look less saturated in Windows than in OS, iOS, android?
It could be as simple as the monitor you’re using with Windows is of a lower quality, is set up poorly, or is not profiled well with the OS. It could be that the viewer on Windows is not color managed, or doesn’t use the monitor profile. Or maybe what you see on Windows is actually closest to reality and the others are wrong… there’s no way to tell from the info provided which system has the most accurate view, much less what might actually be causing the less-accurate views. —Jeffrey
Nice pics thank you!
Hi Jeffrey, I’ve been following your photos, lens reviews and bike adventures for about 10 years. Stumbled upon your website when I was living in Malaysia and have now been in HK a few years. I’m using one of your red foliage photos above as the background image on my Linkedin profile, but not sure how to attribute it to you. Please let me know if you’re OK for me to use your image.
Thanks,
Stefan
It’s fine to use in your Linkedin Profile without attribution, but if there’s a place to put it quietly, a link to the blog post where the image was found (this one) is nice, e.g. “Photo from here, used with permission”, or the like. —Jeffrey
