Anthony had a parent/kid kindergarten event today that I went along on. It involved taking a train along a river, then a boat back.

Arashiyama, all they way across town (the far west of Kyoto), is a very pretty area that I've featured a few times. The “nearby photos” link under the final photo brings up a bunch of pretty pictures, including some from a rainy day last year, and from a sight-seeing trip with an acquaintance. Most of my posts from this area have been from the photogenicly-blessed Giouji Temple.
