What am I?

It's been a couple of months since my last What am I? quiz, so here's one. What is the photo of?

As usual, I'll keep guesses private until I post the answer in a day or three...

Comments so far....

Water drops on granite reflecting something red.

a sheet of metal that was painted first with green, then red paint; the red paint has been weathered off, and rusty stains shine through the green paint.

A screen capture of RawDigger screen showing blown highlights in pink.

I just downloaded RawDigger “Exposure” version a few days ago. Great program.

I think it’s quite hard this time, but I try!:) I think maybe it is an old rusty material, maybe with some old paint remained on it. My other tip is some oil like liquid, but its very far I guess. But I am sure it is a macro shot:P Endre from Hungary

Not sure where it’s at, but that small blueish green object in the NE quadrant appears to be the missing Malaysian airliner. :)
