Hello!

I met this young lady several years ago, and was pleased to have a chance to make some photographs for her today. Her easy smile made it all too easy. I'd been borrowing Damien's Nikkor 200mm f/2 since the autumn without having encountered a reason to use it, but today provided the perfect opportunity.

Did the red color channel blow out (as you happen to note about saturated colors) in “Drenched in Red”?

It’s getting there… I toned down the highlights in Lightroom to the -100 max to try to keep it from blowing out, but you can certainly see a cliff on the cheek where it suddenly becomes less smooth. —Jeffrey
