These were all at the entrance to a temple in Otsu that Paul Barr introduced me to today. I haven't yet looked at the rest of the photos, but it was quite an impressive place, so I have hope that at least a few good shots came of it.

A little time-lapse I made of last year’s bloom/clean-up of my tree. Note that by the time I started the mowing process to save on raking, the petals had mostly dried so they weren’t too bad to deal with! And yes, that is a snow shovel to take care of the pile 😉
