By the Same Tree

Not too far from our “special appreciation spot” is an old decaying tree with some character. I took a photo of Anthony by it last year, so took another this year, and may try to make it into a tradition.

Normally when we're near the tree it's because we're taking a tractor ride where he sits on my lap and drives, so he's not in the mood to stop that fun to take a stupid picture, so I had to say something silly to get him to laugh. I forget what I said, but I got a “Daaaaady, that's siillly” kind of response...

Getoutdda Town!

I'd apparently done something similar last year, to better effect...

Comments so far....

Anthony is growing faster than the tree. Soon you will have to treat him as a young man rather than a ittle boy. I guess that that day is the day that ‘George’ is passed on to a younger friend or relative. Its a big day.

I wonder if George will ever be passed on to a friend. My married 33 year old niece still has her beloved Coco but I think he’s safely tucked away somewhere. The teddy bear’s fur, face and stuffing are mostly gone. He’s been on several trips and even went away to college.

Anthony’s George looks like he’s in good shape. I take it, from the Birthday Balloon Gauntlet post, that there’s more than one George.

Thanks for sharing. It’s good to see you enjoying time with family and nature.

Don’t forget a photo of Anthony’s tree!

Aloha.
