Yesterday's drive in the\nmountains<\/a> left us wanting more, so today we took off in the opposite\ndirection for another drive. It was a<\/span> very hazy, overcast day, but\nrelatively warm and much less crowded where we ended up.<\/p>\n\n

We ended up in the same little rice-farming village in Shiga prefecture\nwith tiered rice\npaddies<\/a> that we visited\nlast year<\/a> (where Anthony and a friend<\/span> playing among the rice\npaddies<\/a> and in another post, I documented<\/span> the rice harvest<\/a>). I had remembered<\/span> a small<\/span> park where we'd stopped last time, and so stopped again\nthis time.<\/p>\n\n

You can see in the shot above the white stick in front of Anthony\nshowing his best to that point. In the next<\/span> shot, he bettered that mark by\nmore than a foot.<\/span>..<\/p>\n\n
