When <span class='nobr'>I started<\/span> the testing, <span class='nobr'>I happened<\/span> to have on my screen the <a\nhref=\"\/blog\/2008-10-21\/971\">butterfly image from this\nevening's post<\/a>, so that's what <span class='nobr'>I used,<\/span> and the image above is what <span class='nobr'>I\nwas<\/span> left with.<\/p>\n\n<p>It looks less dazzling when viewed on my consumer-level Dell monitor,\nbut in Lightroom, on my <a\nhref=\"\/blog\/2008-02-02\/710\">higher-end Eizo monitor<\/a>,\nit's pretty amazingly vibrant.<\/p>\n\n<p>I've posted before about interesting\/funky\/amazing effects you can achieve with the\ndevelop controls in Lightroom (see some of the links in the &#8220;Related posts&#8221;\nbox below), but this one was quite serendipitous.<\/p>\n\n<!-- href='\/blog\/2007-04-20\/429' -->\n<!-- href='\/blog\/2007-06-28\/504' -->\n<!-- href='\/blog\/2008-03-18\/768' -->\n<!-- href='\/blog\/2008-06-18\/840' -->\n<!-- href='\/blog\/2008-08-01\/895' -->\n<!-- href='\/blog\/2008-08-03\/896' -->\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This evening, I've been testing some new code in my Lightroom export plugin for SmugMug that deals with replacing images already uploaded to SmugMug.
