Here's an effective way to ruin almost all your shots for the day,\nbefore you even start: neglect to notice a big<\/span> hunk of grunge on your\nsensor, thereby causing a big<\/span> black splotch on most of your photos.<\/p>\n\n

As part of the rigorous testing I do<\/span> for my readership, I embarked<\/span> on a\nthorough<\/span> test of this technique, while on vacation no less, one of the\nfirst days I was<\/span> at my\nfolks' place in Ohio<\/a> this summer. It was a<\/span> wonderful summer day, and a\nwalk<\/span> around outside had great potential for lots of ruined shots, and I was<\/span>\nnot disappointed.<\/p>\n\n

Er, I was<\/i> disappointed. I mean,<\/span> well, you know what I mean.<\/span><\/p>\n\n
