Anthony's really been getting into origami lately, and most mornings we\nawake to find new creations he's made before breakfast. This morning he\nmade a water<\/span> lily (AKA<\/i> lotus, like the lotus I posted<\/span><\/a> last month).<\/p>\n\n

We've taught him the conventions used in this book... that solid arrows\nmean “fold toward you”, outline arrows mean “fold back”, the difference\namong the various line styles (dotted, dashed, solid...), etc., so he can\nusually figure it out.<\/p>\n\n

He often makes things on his own (that is, without the aid of the book\nor specific prior experience), ranging from an amazing duck he made two\ndays ago that I couldn't<\/span> find this morning to photograph, or this ... how\nshall I say.<\/span>.. “less refined” wallet...<\/p>\n\n
