\n\nThis morning started well.\n\n<\/p>
\n\nI woke up this morning, as I do most mornings, to find that Anthony had\nbeen up and playing for quite some time. His first<\/span> words to me were\n“Daddy, I have poopy<\/span>.<\/b>”\n\n<\/p> \n\nThis was a good thing. He almost<\/span> always has a poopy<\/span> by the time Fumie or I\nwake<\/span> up, but normally tries to hide it (hah, as if we have no noses), and\nnormally fights a diaper<\/span> change. So, it was wonderful this morning that he\nannounced it, and went easily to get cleaned up and into underwear for the\nday.\n\n<\/p>\n\n \n\nThen the morning got a bit worse....\n\n<\/p> \n\nAs I'm changing the diaper, he tells me “I made<\/span> pee-pee on\nfloor<\/b>” Groan )-:<\/b>\n\n<\/p> The diaper and its contents are quite, uh, liquidly, so it probably\noverflowed and leaked last time he made a pee<\/span>-pee. Ugh. At least<\/span> cleanup\nshouldn't take more than a few<\/span> paper towels, since we mostly have hardwood\nfloors.\n\n<\/p> \n\nAs part of potty training, we've been trying to get him to tell us when he\nneeds to use the bathroom. Normally it's fine, but so far he still goes it\nalone in the morning, so I was<\/span> putting on a sad<\/span> face that he didn't wake us\nup to make the poopy or pee-pee.\n\n<\/p> \n\nThen, things went from bad to worse....\n<\/p> \n\n\nObviously trying to make me feel better, he cheerily said in Japanese:\n“But hey, I \n\nSigh. I can't<\/span> blame him, though, since he'd never been told not to use the\nvacuum on liquid.
