called the &#8220;Hospitality Dome&#8221; in Japanese\n&ndash; is <span class='nobr'>a little<\/span> stream, benches, etc., all in <span class='nobr'>a style<\/span> that mixes\n&#8220;modern&#8221; Kanazawa Station is somewhat similar to <a\nhref=\"\/blog\/2008-03-13\/761\">Kyoto Station<\/a>. Kyoto\nStation is <i>much<\/i> larger on every scale, and much more fun to explore,\nbut I've got to say that the esthetic sense of Kanazawa Station &ndash;\npresenting &#8220;old&#8221; in <span class='nobr'>a new<\/span> but somehow familiar and unified way &ndash; was\nreally nice.<\/p>\n\n<p>In the first two shots of this post, you perhaps noticed that the clock\nsmack center in the front of the station is the answer to the <a\nhref=\"\/blog\/2008-06-09\/832\">What Am I?<\/a> quiz from last\nweek.
