The word &#8220;Hanatoro&#8221; is made from the\ncharacters for &#8220;flower&#8221;, &#8220;lantern&#8221;, and &#8220;road&#8221;. <span class='nobr'>The event<\/span> had plenty of\nthem all.<\/p>\n\n<p>I used a tripod for all my shots, with shutter speeds ranging from half\n<span class='nobr'>a second<\/span> up to 30 seconds.<\/p>\n\n<div class='ic tight'><a name='048872' href=\"\/i\/JEF_048872.jpg\"\n><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/i\/JEF_048872_sm.jpg\" width=\"690\" height=\"462\"\nalt=\", f\/7.1, ISO 200 &amp;mdash; This made\nit fine to look at, but current camera technology lags far behind God's\nwhole state-of-the-art &#8220;eye&#8221; thing, so the lighting made for horrible\nphotographs of the ikebana, with powerful &#8220;hot spots&#8221;
