The outing that produced the Bonanza of Fall-Foliage\nDesktop Backgrounds<\/a> and the Touch of Color from the Nanzen\nTemple<\/a> posts was an outing to an event at a local<\/span> preschool, which we\nattended with the family of one of Anthony's classmates, Monet (who was\nfeatured in the latter half of this post<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n

The preschool had fun stuff for kids, of course, so it was a hit<\/span> with\nall...<\/p>\n\n

At some point the kids got ahold of those party favors that you blow\ninto and the ends unravel like a snake's<\/span> tongue, making a party<\/span>-favor kind\nof noise. They were kept occupied by these the whole walk home.<\/p>\n\n

In the next shot, all three are giving it to the “Cupie” bolted to the\nfront of one of the preschool's bus.<\/p>\n\n

I'm not sure how this poor couple was selected, but I came<\/span> upon them\nbeing accosted by two party favors at full tilt.<\/p>\n\n

Eventually we got almost home and the party favors were starting to wear\ndown from overuse, so they had to revert to more normal kid play like\nrunning around.<\/p>\n\n

This was the location where I'd come two weeks ago for First Taste of Kyoto's\nAutumn<\/a> and the subsequent Outing at Dusk<\/a>, and it was\nmore lusciously polychromatic than before.<\/p>\n\n

The kids couldn't care less about the beautiful colors, so I couldn't<\/span>\nget them to turn when I wanted<\/span> for a nice<\/span> shot, but even still, the colors\nin this shot of Monet's back are just amazing.<\/p>\n\n
