Even if you could lift it, you\nwouldn't need to because you could just bob your head down into the thing\nto drink like <span class='nobr'>a horse.<\/span><\/p>\n\n<p>The camera's size matched the glass. <span class='nobr'>It was huge<\/span>. <span class='nobr'>I tried<\/span> holding it,\nand felt dwarfed and feeble. <span class='nobr'>You might<\/span> recall <a\nhref=\"\/blog\/2006-01-05\/127\">my reaction<\/a> when <span class='nobr'>I first<\/span>\nheld <span class='nobr'>a Nikon<\/span> D200 &ndash; filled with words like &#8220;beefy&#8221; and &#8220;heavy&#8221;\n&ndash; but this camera puts mine to shame. <span class='nobr'>It looks<\/span> to be a <a\nhref=\"http:\/\/www.bhphotovideo.com\/c\/product\/221193-USA\/Pentax__67_II_Medium_Format.html\"><span class='nobr'>Pentax\n67<\/span><\/a> medium-format (6x7) SLR. <span class='nobr'>The body alone<\/span> (that is, without the lens)\nis 20% wider, 25% taller, and 30% thicker than my D200, and at 3.7 pounds,\n<span class='nobr'>a stunning<\/span> 100% heavier.<\/p>\n\n<p>It's a film camera that accepts film with 10 frames on <span class='nobr'>a roll.<\/span> <span class='nobr'>In what must<\/span> be the most colossal waste of film, its owner snapped <span class='nobr'>a picture<\/span> of\nme.<\/p>\n\n<p>He had six frames remaining before he had to change film.<\/p>\n\n<p>By the way, for the record, it is unknown what the drink in the huge\nglass was. <span class='nobr'>I asked<\/span> the guy, to which he replied &#8220;<span class='nobr'>I don't<\/span> know. <span class='nobr'>I asked<\/span> for\n<span class='nobr'>a Heineken,<\/span> and they gave me this. <span class='nobr'>I think<\/span> they must have misunderstood my\norder.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Besides a lot of rock at Osaka Castle Park, one is also prone to find a lot of people taking pictures.
