Returning this evening from a most pleasant day visiting friends in\nOsaka, I noticed<\/span> this couple sit behind me on the train.<\/p>\n\n

Their style would be called \u30b4\u30b9\u30ed\u30ea<\/b> (gosurori<\/i> — “Gothic Lolita<\/a>”).<\/p>\n\n

I asked whether they dressed like this on a daily<\/span> basis, to which she\nresponded that yes shd did, although today was just a bit<\/span> extra special\n(perhaps referring to her fabric crown, but I can't<\/span> be sure). I asked<\/span> why\ntoday was special, to which they conferred a bit<\/span> on how to express it,\nfinally saying that they were going to a “tea party.”<\/p>\n\n

They were polite and well spoken, and I enjoyed<\/span> a short<\/span> chat with them. We soon arrived<\/span> at Hankyuu Kawaramachi Station, so I thanked<\/span> them for\nletting me take their picture, and bade them farewell and to enjoy their\nparty.<\/p>\n\n
