(Mouseover the bold words in this paragraph to see the items\nhighlighted in the photo.)<\/p>\n\n<p>You can also see Mt. Misen in the center, which I <a\nhref=\"\/blog\/2007-10-04\/594\">posted about recently<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n<p>As you get a bit closer (and zoom up <span class='nobr'>a lot<\/span> further), the main gate\nstands out quite well, particularly when the tide is lower as it is in the\nnext shot, at eight tenths of <span class='nobr'>a mile<\/span> away. <span class='nobr'>The shrine<\/span> itself is to the\nleft. <span class='nobr'>The smudges<\/span> in between are people, which are fairly easy to see when\nyou look at the bigger version. It doesn't look smaller in the photo because it's half the\ndistance of the other one. <span class='nobr'>The shot was<\/span> taken from right in front of our\nhotel\n(<a\nhref=\"http:\/\/www.kinsuikan.jp\/en\/index.html\">Kinsuikan Inn<\/a> &mdash;
