I mentioned in my post about the Kousuke Atari\nconcert in Miyajima<\/a> that the shrine (Itsukushima Shrine) had a big,<\/span>\nfamous gate (as many shrines tend to have, including the one near me<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n

After the concert, we walked around a bit<\/span> taking pictures (actually\nrunning into the singer at one point, but that's for a different<\/span> post), and\nI liked<\/span> this guy sitting at the edge of the water.<\/p>\n\n

I didn't have much time before the concert, but snapped this next\npicture from in front of our hotel just before we walked over.<\/p>\n\n

The little lines of white dots to either side of the gate are from stone\nlanterns lining the shore, as seen in the pictures above, and in my earlier\nbench<\/a> photo.<\/p>\n\n

Most photos that I post on my blog are just part of telling a story,<\/span> but\nsome, like this one, are just pretty. Most such shots really need to be\nseen supersized<\/a> to\nfully appreciate.<\/p>\n\n
