I posted the other day about the wet and scruffy birds<\/a> that\nI fed<\/span> on a stormy<\/span> day earlier this week. I'd not gotten<\/span> any pictures until\nafter the storm, when they'd started to dry off, so they didn't look as wet\nand messy in the pictures as they had during the storm.<\/p>\n\n

Well, yesterday was another storm and another day of working with the\nlaptop on the veranda, but this time I brought<\/span> out the camera during the\nstorm, and although it was quite dark and gloomy (it was a thunderstorm,<\/span>\nafter all), I got some<\/span> scruffy-wet bird pictures.<\/p>\n\n

I had a difficult time trying to get a good<\/span> shot, not only due to the\nlack of light, but because I was<\/span> using a new monopod<\/a> and a new focusing screen<\/a> on my\ncamera, and was not yet used to either.
