The magazine's name in Japanese is \u30aa\u30a6\u30c1,\nwhich is <span class='nobr'>a polite<\/span> way to say &#8220;home.&#8221; It's <span class='nobr'>a three<\/span>-syllable word\n(oh, eww, chi), but when romanize (written with roman letters, like\nEnglish) it becomes <i>Ouchi<\/i>, which looks just like &#8220;Ouch!&#8221;\nexcept for the location of the dot at the end (<b>!<\/b> <i>vs.<\/i> <b>i<\/b>). Very witty.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>Considering the common penniless student looking for <span class='nobr'>a place<\/span> to live,\nespecially in today's market, the English meaning of &#8220;Ouch&#8221;\nseems more than appropriate.
