On our stroll through Kibune<\/a> (hamlet in the\nmountains of northern Kyoto) last month, we came across the most impressive\nrain gutter and downspout I've ever seen. It was clearly<\/span> made of solid\ncopper, and looked as if it could withstand anything man, beast, or nature\ncould throw at it.<\/p>\n\n
