A few days after I posted<\/a> a photo<\/span> of a vine<\/span>\non a bamboo<\/span> fence (see the image at the lower left), I went back<\/span> to see it\nin a different<\/span> light. I was surprised<\/span> to see how much the vine had withered\naway in just four days (image lower right).<\/p>\n\n\n

You can also see how harsh the direct sun of the second is, compared with the morning shade of the first.<\/p>\n\n

Harsh sun or not, I thought<\/span> some of the other shots I got<\/span> that day might\nmake a nice<\/span> desktop background image, so I've provided three, in an array\nof both standard and widescreen sizes.<\/p>\n\n\n

The first is a close-up of the vine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n

Next we have a blank section of bamboo fence. Yes, it's boring, but then, it is<\/i> for a desktop<\/span> background....<\/p>\n\n\n

Finally, a wider view, in case it appeals to some. The wider<\/span> view\nhighlights that the bamboo slats were not properly perpendicular, and so the whole image feels tilted a bit.<\/span> If I correct<\/span>\nfor the slant one way, it feels tilted the other, so there you have it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
