{"id":2662,"date":"2016-01-04T23:53:58","date_gmt":"2016-01-04T14:53:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/regex.info\/blog\/2016-01-04\/2662"},"modified":"2016-01-04T23:53:58","modified_gmt":"2016-01-04T14:53:58","slug":"lazy-new-year-break-and-reflections-on-last-years-cycling","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/regex.info\/blog\/2016-01-04\/2662","title":{"rendered":"Lazy New-Year Break and Reflections on Last Year&#8217;s Cycling"},"content":{"rendered":"\n\n<p>It's been a mostly-lazy New Year break for me, just hanging out at home with the family,\nworking here and there on <a href='\/blog\/lightroom-goodies\/'>my Lightroom plugins<\/a>,\nfrom time to time updating roads <span class='nobr'>I cycle<\/span> <span class='nobr'>a lot<\/span> at <a href='http:\/\/openstreetmap.org\/'>OpenStreeMap.org<\/a> with much more\naccurate road data than they currently have, and some general vegetating.<\/p>\n\n<p>I did get to bookmark the change of year with\n<a href='https:\/\/www.strava.com\/activities\/459828462'><span class='nobr'>a last<\/span> bicycle ride in 2015<\/a> up into the mountains\nnorth of Kyoto on the last day of the year. There was even <span class='nobr'>a bit<\/span> of snow. Brrrr.
