Almost-microscopic mushrooms growing in a bed<\/span> of moss is hard to resist when you have a nice<\/span> macro lens<\/a>,\nas seen in prior posts\nhere<\/a> and here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n

Paul Barr is back in Kyoto for the first time in a year,<\/span> as is the fall-foliage season. Paul,\nDamien Douxchamps, and I made<\/span> our way out to the Takao (\u9ad8\u96c4)<\/span> area in the mountains of north-western Kyoto\nto see the fall colors. It was my<\/span> first outing for fall colors this year (though in the past month or so I've\nposted a lot<\/span> of fall-foliage shots from prior years, including\nhere<\/a>,\nhere<\/a>,\nhere<\/a>,\nhere<\/a>, and\nhere<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n
