Doh!<\/p>\n\n<p>The thought of losing 1,400 messages awaiting my attention was both\nfrightening and liberating. Sadly, <span class='nobr'>I keep good<\/span> automatic backups (in this\ncase with <a href='http:\/\/crashplan.com\/'>Crashplan<\/a>),\nso <span class='nobr'>I was<\/span> able to recover my mail queue as it stood <span class='nobr'>a few<\/span> hours ago.<\/p>\n\n<p>As <a href='\/blog\/2014-08-18\/2447'><span class='nobr'>I mentioned<\/span>\nyesterday<\/a>, I've not been too attentive to email lately so hadn't even\ntried to load new mail for about the last day, so anything sent to me in\nthe last day or so is lost.
