With Anthony away on a school trip, Fumie and I made<\/span> a day<\/span>-trip date to\nAwaji Island two hours by car south from Kyoto, where our first stop was a\nlate<\/span> lunch in heaven, A.K.A “<\/span>Beefland Prince”<\/span>.<\/p>\n\n

You can't begin to imagine how good this steak was. When I say<\/span> the steak\nliterally melts in your mouth, I'm literally<\/span> using the word “<\/span>literally”<\/span> for\nits literal meaning... the fats in the meat just melt away. It's almost<\/span> unearthly when\ncompared to any other steak I've ever had in this life (including\nthe fantastic teppanyaki steak<\/a> I wrote<\/span> about\nthe other day; as good as it was, it's not in the same class as today's place).<\/p>\n\n

Sadly, it's a two-hour drive away and is pretty pricey, so we can't\nenjoy it often. We last came<\/span> four years ago.<\/p>\n\n
