It's been an active week since my last post. We spent<\/span> a nice<\/span> weekend in Shirahama, a three<\/span>-hour drive from Kyoto,\nabout which I'll post more later.<\/p>\n\n

Upon our return, Anthony promptly got a cold<\/span> and I had<\/span> my first\nheart-arrhythmia episode in 20 months. Like\nlast time<\/a> the Sunrythm<\/a> I took<\/span> at home\ndidn't work, but unlike last time they decided not to shock me back into a regular<\/span> rhythm. Rather, the doc gave me a different<\/span> drug\nin the same class\n(Flecainide<\/a>, sold in Japan as\n\u30bf\u30f3\u30dc\u30b3\u30fc\u30eb<\/a>) with instructions that\nI should<\/span> return if it didn't help within seven days. I was back<\/span> in normal rhythm in about an hour.<\/p>\n\n

So, we're all back on our feet, and I'm back to my normal life feeling\noverwhelmed with photography and Lightroom plugin work. But I've got a\ngreat<\/span> weekend to look forward to: I gave<\/span> up alcohol and desserts for Lent,\nbut it ends after Mass on Saturday evening, so I'll visit some photography\nfriends soon after for an evening of drinks and warm conversation.<\/p>\n\n
