I popped down to South Carolina to visit my brother Alan and to join him\nin a road<\/span> trip back up to Ohio, and on the flight last night I sat<\/span> next to\nan off-duty pilot for US Airways who lives on a 250<\/span>-acre farm in Ohio and\ncommutes to his flight hub in Charlotte for work. We had a<\/span> nice chat.<\/p>\n\n

He knows nothing of Japan, and enjoys farming, so I thought<\/span> I'd put a\npost<\/span> of random “<\/span>farming in Japan”<\/span> photos for him. It's somewhat<\/span> of a\nchallenge<\/span> to find appropriate (but still unpublished) shots among the\n130,000 photos in my archive, but are some I could<\/span> scrounge up at short\nnotice.<\/p>\n\n
