This post finally winds up the story started in\n“Anatomy of a Photoshoot<\/span> by Someone Who Has No Clue About Them<\/a>”\nand then continued in parts two<\/a> and three<\/a>,\nof a photoshoot<\/span>\nPaul Barr and I did<\/span> with a mutual<\/span> friend, Yuko, at\nthe\nFushimi Inari Shrine<\/a> (\u4f0f\u898b\u7a32\u8377\u5927\u793e)<\/span> in Kyoto.<\/p>\n\n

Winding our day down, we came across a sleepy<\/span> cat happy to sit with a stone<\/span> fox\n(Inari shrines are known for their foxes<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n

The cat was not in the mood to pose, or even open its eyes (though it was clearly awake)...<\/p>\n\n

You can tell this one is a bit forced. We were getting<\/span> tired and running out of ideas, but it had been a wonderful<\/span> experience.<\/p>\n\n

We came upon an interesting bit of architecture that I felt<\/span> really held potential...<\/p>\n\n

As much potential as it had, we weren't tapping it, so made a note<\/span> to come back another day.<\/p>\n\n

We exited the shrine grounds at a side<\/span> gate, and on the way back to the\nmain entrance through the adjacent residential area, we came upon a big<\/span> sign in the\nstreet. I asked<\/span> Paul and Yuko to pose:<\/p>\n\n

I'm sad to think what must have prompted the need for such a sign,<\/span> but\nsince it was there, we had fun with it. After informing Paul of its\nmeaning, he posed for one more...<\/p>\n\n

Back near the entrance to the shrine, I noticed<\/span> a lady<\/span> sitting alone in the middle of a colorful<\/span> scene...<\/p>\n\n\n
