It's been a busy few days since I posted<\/span> “Weeping Cherry at Kyoto\u2019s\nRyouanji Temple (\u9f8d\u5b89\u5bfa)<\/span><\/a>”. I came down<\/span> with a cold,<\/span> my wife performed in a local<\/span>\nproduction of Swan Lake<\/i>, and I recovered<\/span> from my cold, in that\nunfortunate order. No time to<\/span> even look at the photos from the other day\nbeyond a quick<\/span> glace at the top of the stack, so here are a few<\/span> more from\nthe start of that outing...<\/p>\n\n

After all the buds and blossoms I posted<\/span> last month\n(such as here<\/a>,\nhere<\/a>, and\nhere<\/a>), I told myself<\/span> I'd concentrate more on shots of folks enjoying the blossoms,\nrather than the blossoms themselves, and we saw that posts\nhere<\/a>,\nhere<\/a>, and\nhere<\/a>. I passed a tourist going the other way that I had<\/span> to return to ask for a portrait.<\/span>..<\/p>\n\n

15 seconds from start to end, but having missed focus a bit,<\/span> I could<\/span> have used 20 seconds.<\/p>\n\n

Moving into a small grove on the far west of the temple grounds, we found the landscaping crew at work...<\/p>\n\n

I take it that they had just pruned the trees, and were now applying some kind of protective salve over\nthe cuts.<\/p>\n\n
