This is a followup to “An f\/1.2 + f\/5.6 Pair<\/a>” from two months ago, from an outing\nintroduced the prior day in “A Few<\/span> Pretty\nPictures from Kyoto\u2019s Middle-of-Nowhere Sourenji Temple<\/a>”. I'd left off<\/span> with the promise to show a few<\/span>\nmore f\/1.2 shots, so here we finally are.<\/p>\n\n

Nothing here is really that compelling, or even makes good use of the ultra\nshallow depth of field that f\/1.2 affords. Whatever might be notable is more due to “strangeness” than\n“interest”, but it's a bit<\/span> off the beaten path so I'm posting them.<\/p>\n\n\n

This kind of shot is clich\u00e9, but I like<\/span> it (also seen recently here<\/a>), but I'm\nstill trying to get a good<\/span> one.<\/p>\n\n

Like I said, there's nothing too compelling here, and I don't<\/span> think any\nof these pictures are really enhanced by the ultra-shallow depth of field.\nThis says more about my inability to make the best use of the tool than\nanything bad about the tool.<\/p>\n\n
