Last autumn when Damien\nDouxchamps<\/a> visited Kyoto and introduced me<\/a> to some new\n(for me) temples, he also introduced me to the delightful licorice candies\nfrom Swedish company Läkerol<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n

So delightful were they that, upon not finding them for sale in Japan, I enlisted<\/span> the help of a\nfriend<\/span> in Germany<\/a>, and came home from my New Year's trip<\/a> to\nfind a box<\/span> brimming with an assortment of 11 different flavors...<\/p>\n\n

I haven't tried most of them yet, but the cactus flavor (I never<\/span> knew\ncacti had flavor, much less tasty flavor) is the one I most<\/span> liked among the\nvarious flavors Damien had with him.<\/p>\n\n

My jetlag<\/a> is still\nbeing unfun, so I didn't<\/span> spend much time on these quick snapshots, but I\ngot<\/span> lucky in the first shot by having grabbed a dry<\/span>-erase whiteboard (also\npressed into make-shift photographic service in yesterday's post about\nJapanese candles<\/a>) as the backdrop... I hadn't<\/span> even thought about the\nnice box reflections until I happened<\/span> to notice them after setup.<\/p>\n\n
