It was, at times, a cold<\/span> miserable day in Kyoto today, but there's\nsomething to be said for being in the right place at the right time.<\/p>\n\n\n

The rain the rainbows were created in was being swept in low from the\nmountains to the left. (Fittingly, this area of Kyoto's name, Arashiyama<\/i>, means “Tempest Mountain”.)\nAnyway, lacking altitude, they're not one of those tall half\ncircles like\nthis<\/a> or this<\/a>. It was quite<\/span> a squished<\/span> curve, but what lacked for in height it made up in intensity.<\/p>\n\n\n

The bird in this one is a nice<\/span> touch, and a bit<\/span> more obvious than the helicopter in this one<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n
