My Friday was almost an exact repeat of my Thursday<\/a>: a slow<\/span>\nmorning, a nice lunch, an afternoon of photography with Paul Barr among\nKyoto's lovely fall foliage, a few<\/span> hours of family time, then drinks and\nsnacks and some Lightroom photo processing at the surprisingly-tasty\nhole-in-the-wall A's Bar<\/a> near\nShijo Kawaramachi.<\/p>\n\n

The only real difference was the location of the photography, this time\nat the gardens of the Shouzan Resort, which visited two years\nago<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First looking at the day's photos with Paul at the bar, we jumped around and picked sort\nof randomly ones that seemed to be interesting, so this post has no real theme.<\/p>\n\n

I found the setting quite inspiring the first time I went<\/span> (the colors\nwere wonderful, the light was great, etc.), but it wasn't doing much for me\nyesterday. Maybe it's still too early, or maybe the light was just too\nharsh. In any case<\/span>, I tried<\/span>, but got lots of flat, boring images like the\nnext three...<\/p>\n\n
