A belated continuation of our recent visit to Naoshima Island and its\nartsy Benesse House\nhotel\/museum<\/a> two weeks ago.<\/p>\n\n

While packing the car to go home, I came across<\/span> a lone<\/span> piece of tiny\ncolorful vine that had somehow found its way to the sidewalk. Ever since I\ntook<\/span> this pic six years\nago<\/a>, I've been a fan<\/span> of vines like this.<\/p>\n\n

I loved the shape of this tiny island (Oozuchi\nIsland<\/i><\/a>) four miles distant (also seen here<\/a> in my first\npost). According to Wikipedia, it's less than 30 acres (1\/20th of a square<\/span>\nmile), but rises to an elevation of 171m.<\/p>\n\n
