(It perhaps helped the creative process that <span class='nobr'>I was<\/span> drinking beer and\neating my favorite chicken, at Kyoto's ever-delicious <a\nhref='\/blog\/2012-03-24\/1963'>Uroko restaurant<\/a>, while\nworking on these the day <span class='nobr'>I got<\/span> my computer back.)<\/p>\n\n<p>I shouldn't have been surprised, because I've known for <span class='nobr'>a long<\/span> time\nthat <a href='\/blog\/2007-10-08\/598'>shooting in raw format<\/a>\ngives you <a href='\/blog\/2009-02-28\/1154'><span class='nobr'>a lot<\/span> of latitude<\/a> during post processing,\nand even five years ago <span class='nobr'>I was<\/span> exploring\n<a href='\/blog\/2007-04-20\/429'>the wild interpretations<\/a> that Lightroom's controls afford,\n<span class='nobr'>a learning<\/span> concept I've repeated numerous times,\nsuch as\n\n<a href='\/blog\/2011-10-31\/1873'>here<\/a>,\n<a href='\/blog\/2012-03-18\/1961'>here<\/a>,\n<a href='\/blog\/2011-03-26\/1729'>here<\/a>,\n<a href='\/blog\/2007-06-28\/504'>here<\/a>,\n<a href='\/blog\/2008-08-01\/895'>here<\/a>,\n<a href='\/blog\/2011-12-14\/1905'>here<\/a>,\n<a href='\/blog\/2008-10-21\/972'>here<\/a>, and\n<a href='\/blog\/2009-09-28\/1322'>here<\/a>;\n\nthese links are also listed, along with their post titles, in the &#8220;related posts&#8221; white.<\/p>\n\n<p>I'm a bit hesitant to try B&amp;W in one sense, because <span class='nobr'>I chose<\/span> the\nparticular <a href='\/blog\/2012-08-11\/2069'>Uniqlo &yen;500\nT-Shirt<\/a> <span class='nobr'>I was<\/span> wearing because <span class='nobr'>I knew<\/span> <span class='nobr'>I would<\/span> post some shots, and knew\nmy mom will like the color on me.
