As I posted the other day in “Pregnant Cloud Over\nKyoto<\/a>”, we've gotten quite a bit<\/span> of locally-intense afternoon\nthunderstorms this summer. I'm not normally<\/span> here in the summer, so this has\ncome as quite the surprise to me, a pleasing<\/span> one having grown up\nenjoying intense thunderstorms in Ohio's hot and humid summers.<\/p>\n\n

I took these pictures two days before the “pregnant cloud” shot, but I\nwas<\/span> working intently on my\nlatest Lightroom plugin<\/a> so didn't have time to post them.<\/p>\n\n

The cell was moving south to north, and behind it to the south it was quite clear...<\/p>\n\n
