Dipping into the several metric tons of pixels that I want<\/span> to post but\nhave yet to barely even look at myself, a short<\/span> trip back to late April, to\na visit<\/span> to the Joshoko-ji Temple (\u5e38\u7167\u7687\u5bfa,<\/span> more properly transliterated in English\nas “Joushoukou-ji”) with Paul Barr and Nicolas\nJoannin<\/a>. It was an<\/span> amazing place, though the harsh sunlight of the hot\nspring day made for photographic challenges.<\/p>\n\n

I did post just a few shots the day after the trip, in\n“Pretty As a Peach<\/span> Blossom<\/a>”,\nand some time later some shots that happened to be from that outing to illustrate\n“Unconventional Camera Bag: Repurposing a Think<\/span> Tank Photo Retrospective Lens Changer<\/a>”.<\/p>\n\n

We were a too late for the blossoms' prime, so you can see green leaves\nmixing in with the blossoms, but it was still quite pretty.<\/p>\n\n
