Anthony's hair can get wild, but it doesn't grow very fast. He was over<\/span>\na year<\/span> old by the time he had his first haircut. Here's a screen<\/span> capture\nfrom the video:<\/p>\n\n

More than two and a half years later, he's had only a few<\/span> more haircuts,\ntwice in the place down the street where Fumie and I often<\/span> get our hair\ncut, but mostly by me. Yesterday, we went to a kids<\/span>-only haircut shop with\nracecars for chairs and videos of trains and such in front of each station.\n<\/p>\n\n

\n\nIt was a very smooth experience (unlike any previous haircut), half due to\nthe racecar, and half to the skill\/experience of the cutter in dealing with\nkids. She was very<\/span> good, and very fast (it's only 14 minutes between the\nfirst picture and the last).\n\n<\/p>

\n\nIt actually looked much better today than it does in the just-after photo,\nprobably because we could give it a decent<\/span> shampoo at home.
