This one is very much a matter of taste, but I came<\/span> across this rendition\nof a fall<\/span>-foliage scene while futzing in Lightroom as I tested<\/span> my Lightroom plugins<\/a>. I often<\/span> need to make an image look completely different than before, so I\ncan<\/span> tell at a glance<\/span> when it arrives at an upload destination I'm working\non, and in doing this I usually<\/span> just slam a develop<\/span> slider one way or the\nother to its limit. I tend to<\/span> not pay attention to which slider I grab,<\/span> or\nwhat the result is, but sometimes the result does grab my attention.<\/p>\n\n

This one grabbed my attention because of its soft pastel colors, and how\nit feels so... indistinct. It's somehow<\/span> calming.<\/p>\n\n

I don't normally post these ones that grab my attention because they'd get old\nrather quickly, but I did<\/span> post one back in 2008, in\n“Serendipitous Fun with Adobe Lightroom<\/a>”.<\/p>\n\n
