Picking up from where “Tag Along With Me on a Photo<\/span> Shoot at Kyoto\u2019s Gioji Temple<\/a>” left off, after the initial moss shots, I turned<\/span> to the thatched roof of a small<\/span> gate.<\/p>\n\n

The first photo is looking up the slant to the reeds making the top layer of the roof.<\/p>\n\n

Here's looking at the evenly-sliced bottom face, which perhaps would be considered the eaves if there were walls...<\/p>\n\n

Nearby a set of ferns seems to be springing from the base of a tree<\/span> and\nhave a real<\/span> “presence” (I'm not sure what that even means for a plant<\/span>), but\nwhatever “it” these ferns had was lost in the photo, but FWIW, here it\nis:<\/p>\n\n

The white dots in the lower left are the mushrooms in question. He's using<\/span> my\nVoigtl\u00e4nder 125mm<\/a> with an adapter\non his Olympus E-P2. Here's one of the shots he got:<\/p>\n\n\n
