As I mentioned yesterday in “Rich Colors: A\nGood<\/span> Start to an Amazing Day in Kyoto<\/a>”, I started<\/span> a wonderful<\/span> day of\nexploration and photography with a visit<\/span> to the Gioji Temple (\u7947\u738b\u5bfa)<\/span> in\nwestern Kyoto.<\/p>\n\n

In keeping with my “spray and pray” approach to photography \ud83d\ude42 I ended<\/span>\nup taking almost 600 photos over the course of the day, but maybe my\napproach is not quite as unskilled as I thought,<\/span> because most of my shots\ncame out nicely. Or maybe<\/span> Gioji is just that<\/i> photogenic and\ninspiring.<\/p>\n\n

So, as somewhat of an exercise in showing my thought process for the\nfirst part of the day, I thought<\/span> I'd share the first dozen or so shots of\nthe day.<\/p>\n\n

Except shot #2. I bumped<\/span> the shutter button while walking through the entrance,\nso deleted it right away.<\/p>\n\n
