For portrait-oriented images &mdash; those taller than wide\n&mdash; <span class='nobr'>I have<\/span> traditionally gone with 700 pixels tall, but yesterday\nlimited it to 500 pixels tall.<\/p>\n\n<p>Depending on your particular combination of viewing hardware, screen\nsettings, and personal preferences, you may prefer one way more than the\nother, and would even perhaps even like to see the size go further in one\ndirection or the other.<\/p>\n\n<p>Since I can't know or predict each person's viewing hardware, screen\nsettings, and personal preferences, <span class='nobr'>I thought<\/span> I'd ask: for <span class='nobr'>a photo<\/span>-heavy\nblog like mine, what do you think about the image size?<\/p>\n\n<p>Does it perhaps depend on the subject? Still life <i>vs.<\/i> human interest?
