<span class='nobr'>I ended<\/span> with <span class='nobr'>a\nfew<\/span> shots of the girls above taking advantage of <span class='nobr'>a photogenic<\/span> location, made more so\nfor everyone else by their presence.<\/p>\n\n<p>I was heading to the Kiyomizu branch of the most excellent <a\nhref='http:\/\/www.to-fu.co.jp\/en\/index.html'>Junsei Tofu Restaurant<\/a> to\nhave lunch with Paul Barr. <span class='nobr'>The branch<\/span> is so named because it's near the\nfront gate of <a href='\/blog\/2007-06-08\/484'>the Kiyomizu\nTemple<\/a>, in an area that usually packed with tourists, so the quiet\nelegance of the restaurant is <span class='nobr'>a welcome<\/span> relief from the crowds. <span class='nobr'>I learned<\/span> of it from <span class='nobr'>a friend<\/span> who occasionally helps out with running the place.<\/p>\n\n<div class='ic'><a name=\"111143\" href='\/i\/JF7_111143.jpg'\n><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/i\/JF7_111143_sm.jpg\" width=\"690\" height=\"459\"\nalt=\"Exceedingly Fresh Yuba At the Kiyomizu &#8220;Junsei&#8221; Restaurant <span class='nobr'>(\u9806\u6b63\u6e05\u6c34\u5e97)<\/span>\n<br\/>Kyoto, Japan\n<\/div>\n\n<p>The place is known for its tofu, always made that day, but having been\nthere <span class='nobr'>a couple<\/span> of times in the last month, I've decided that <span class='nobr'>I prefer<\/span> the\nopportunity for extremely fresh <a\nhref='http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Tofu_skin'><i>yuba<\/i><\/a> <span class='nobr'>(\u6e6f\u8449)<\/span>\n&mdash;
