Today I visited eastern Kyoto's Chishaku-in Temple (\u667a\u7a4d\u9662<\/span><\/a>)\nwith Paul Barr and Nicolas\nJoannin<\/a>. I'd driven<\/span> by its large temple grounds hundreds of times, but\nhad never stopped in, and perhaps couldn't have picked a better<\/span> day. It was the<\/span> first short-sleeve day of the year, and the open grounds were dotted\nwith all kinds of blossoming trees...<\/p>\n\n
